Attention, homebuyers: California's New Home Credit will soon be gone, state Franchise Tax Board officials announced Friday. Sacramento arera home sales edge up in August

Home sales rallied somewhat in the Sacramento region in August, coming on the heels of a dismal July. Figures released today by La Jolla researcher MDA DataQuick showed that Sacramento-area buyers claimed 3,223 new and existing houses in August, up from 2,958 in July but down from 3,375 in August 2009.
